Green Talks: Post-crisis investment opportunities in green technologies
The online event will bring together the best international experts in the field of green technologies, green finance, energy and sustainable development. The event is supported by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in France.
SPEAKERS:
▪️Dave Turk, Acting Deputy Executive Director and Head of the Strategic Initiatives Office at International Energy Agency (IEA), who will share his experience in clean technology investment in the energy sector: recommendations for Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
▪️Kumi Kitamori, Head of Green Growth & Global Relations Division at the OECD Environment Directorate
will speak about transition to a sustainable and low carbon development and about special program that promotes green growth policies, finance and investment in Kazakhstan and Central Asia region.
▪️Karsten Löffler, Managing director of the Green and Sustainable Finance Cluster will speak about the role of the financial sector in the “green transformation”.
▪️Aigul Kussaliyeva, Director of the Green Finance Intelligence at Astana International Finance Center will speak about development of green finance in Kazakhstan.
We will also be joined by Akhmetzhan Primkulov, Vice Minister of ecology, geology, and natural resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who will speak about stimulation of green technologies promotion in the new Environmental code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
